Leak Safety Checks
Seasoned RV owners know the key to extending the life of an RV means keeping it clean of contaminants and checking for leaks 1–4 times per year. That's why we offer a complimentary leak safety check whenever you have it detailed with us. The lead detailer we send for your RV is certified by Water Doctors, America's leaders in automotive water intrusion since 1976.
Free Car Wash & Wax
Book a Wash & Wax for your RV and your car is free. We only have the manpower for less than five slots per week. Claim our limited time special today.
Car can be any 3-row vehicle and must be onsite with water spigot access. Add "RV WASH & WAX" and "WASH & WAX (add car free)" to your cart at checkout. Valid for RVs 20ft or more.
5-Star Care
We have nothing but 5 stars on Google and Yelp because we put care into everything we do. No pressure if you call to ask questions and easy online bookings. Our chemistry, tools & techniques take the gentlest approach to leaving your RV looking immaculate. Porous gel coat, TPO, EPDM, and seals can be sensitive to harsh chemicals. We look out for your RV, so it looks its best long after the detail.
Free RV Leak Safety Check
Our sister company, Water Doctors Northwest, is the local branch of the largest automotive water intrusion repair company nationwide with five decades of unmatched expertise. If any repairs are necessary, the Water Doctors tech will share their findings and give you the option to handle them for you. Our unique partnership allows us to offer the only complete direct-to-you RV exterior maintenance in the Portland Metro area.
This is a complimentary, non-invasive visual check of common leak points: degraded lap sealant, cap rails, clearance lights, roof vents, skylights, window frames, ladder mounts, slide-out seals, awning brackets, moldings, and other known trouble spots. This is a limited exterior visual check only, not a pressure test or full diagnostic, and cannot guarantee that all existing or future leaks will be found. Failing sealant hidden by dirt or Eternabond Tape for example may be harder to spot. If anything of concern is found, you'll be notified and given options by Water Doctors.

Nothing but 5-Stars
We have no reviews less than 5 stars across Google and Yelp.
Did a Fantastic job on my FifthWheel RV, Looks brand new! Him and his crew did an excellent job!
They explained their reasons and choices throughout the process. They are friendly and committed to their craft. Lightning will be my detail shop from this point on.
Jupiter and his team are AMAZING! 10 out of 5 stars. Their attention to detail is superb and customer service is top-notch. Don't bother looking anywhere else.
It looks so beautiful to the point I dont even wanna drive it. Jupiter and his team did an excellent job executing what I wanted and more.
Communicative, check. On time, check. Friendly, check. Found every last gold fish, check. Sparkle sorcery, check.
The main reason I chose Lightning Mobile and why they stood out from the rest was nothing other than sheer professionalism. The results brought new life to my old but reliable van. I told the guys how much this van had sentimental value and they took real good care of it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. We work on most drivable and towable RVs: Class A, Class B and Class C motorhomes, fifth wheels, travel trailers, toy haulers, and truck campers.
Before we start washing, a Water Doctors–certified specialist does a quick, non-invasive visual check of common leak points on your RV. We look at roof seams, cap rails, lights, vents, skylights, window frames, ladder mounts, slide-out seals, awning brackets, and other known trouble spots. If we see anything that looks like an active or likely leak, we'll show you and explain options before moving forward. It's a courtesy check to catch obvious issues early, not a full diagnostic.
For most RV owners who store outdoors in Oregon weather, we recommend a proper exterior Wash & Wax 2–4 times per year. If your coach lives under trees, near the coast, or does a lot of miles each season, you may want it done more often to protect the gelcoat, paint, graphics, and seals. Oxidation removal is only when needed. Ceramic coatings minimize how often either are needed.
Yes. Your roof is the first line of defense against water damage. Keeping the roof and upper surfaces cleaned and conditioned helps prolong the life of the roof membrane, sealants, caulking, and all exterior surfaces. It also makes it much easier to spot hairline cracks, failing seams, or soft spots. Leaks are almost impossible to see when everything is buried under dirt and grime. Part of good RV ownership is checking for leaks as often as possible, and a clean roof makes those inspections feasible.
Unfortunately, yes. Even brand-new RVs can leave the factory with missed sealant, poorly sealed roof penetrations, or components that shift on the first few trips. Tiny gaps can let water in long before you see any damage inside. Our preliminary leak check is designed to flag visible issues so you can address them before they turn into expensive structural repairs.
For most details we need: a place to park and 3 feet of space around your RV, and access to an outdoor water spigot. If you're in a storage lot, please make sure cleaning your RV there is permitted.
When you book an RV Wash & Wax Exterior Detail, add "Wash & Wax (add car)" for one passenger vehicle (3 row or less i.e. minivan) at the same location during the same visit. The offer is limited to 5 combo appointments per week, and the car must be onsite with hose access.
